EA SPORTS FC 26: Bruno Fernandes the highest-rated player as Premier League Team of the Season is revealed

Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes is the highest-rated player in the EA SPORTS FC 26 Premier League Team of the Season.

The midfielder who has enjoyed a stellar campaign in the English top-flight has been rewarded alongside the likes of Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Dominik Szoboszlai, who were also named in the starting XI.

Like Szoboszlai, Antoine Semenyo has earned a starting spot for the first time in his career, while Rayan Cherki follows his City team-mate Donnarumma with an appearance in the team in his debut season in the Premier League.

Erling Haaland makes his third EA SPORTS FC Team of the Season in a row, bringing City's tally up to four members named this time around. Four Arsenal players have also made the team, with Gabriel, Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber and William Saliba representing the Gunners. Chelsea's Marc Cucurella has also been named.

Hugo Ekitike, James Garner and Lewis Hall have been recognised as emerging talents despite not making the team and are TOTS breakthrough items.

David Raya, Igor Thiago and Reece James miss out on a starting spot and are among the substitutes.

In the Women's Super League Team of the Season, City's Bunny Shaw is the highest-rated player in a team that includes Manchester United duo Jess Park and Maya Le Tissier. Chelsea's record signing, Alyssa Thompson, makes the team in her debut season while Arsenal's Katie McCabe and Mariona Caldentey are also named.
